Accompanying letter states: "".. Died at Nynee Tal on the afternoon of the 3rd instant. Mr Wray joined this Department on the 18th November 1862 from the Roorkee College, when he was a Gunner attached to the Corps fo Sappers. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in May 1864, and obtained his discharge from the Army on the 13th December 1866. |
