Entry   on behalf of Martina Bowles heretofore Jackson, wife of Charles Bowles Esq., it was said that the deceased in 1839 made his will which made William Martin & John Peter Grant executors for his wife the said Martina Bowles the residuary legatee. After his death application was made for grant in the Supreme Court of Calcutta but an administration was granted instead… William Martin renounced… in 1824 James Evan Baillie and others filed a bill of complaint in Chancery against Jeanetta Jackson wid. (since deceased) the wid. of Josias Jackson Esq… property in St Vincent… the Christian names of the administrator changed from Henry William to William Henry by a decree of court 6 July 1854 [Captain 30th Native Infantry at Nusserabad, bach., d 13 Oct 1839, to Henry William Domville of New Square, Lincoln’s Inn, gent., “limited to carry on proceedings in Chancery”, £50, Estate Duty Registers], further grant 15 July 1854 to Martina Bowles, Pts
