Received the 4th Class Order of Medjidee and the Turkish Crimean Medal. Served in the Oude Campaign, 57, 58: present at the several affairs during the advance of the Goorkha Force under Maharajah Jung Bahadoor. Present during the siege and capture of Lucknow, in March 58. Mentioned in Despatches. Received the special thanks of His Excellency the Governor-General in Council. Medal and Clasp. |
