 East Indiamen Warrants (1768-1826)

These data have been transcribed from TNA records HO 118/1 and are lists of warrants issued by the Crown to the Masters of East Indiamen trading to the East. They grant authority "to apprehend, seize or secure all Pyrates, Free Booters and Sea Rovers, together with Their Ships and Vessels, etc........"
