	Summary of Service	1817 : Writer. 1823 : Assistant to the Collector and Magistrate of Bellary. 1824 : Assistant to the Collector and Magistrate of Cuddapah; At home. 1827 : Returned to India; Head Assistant to the Principal Collector and Magistrate of Madura. 1828 : Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate the Treasury there. 1836 : Acting Collector of Sea Customs at Madras, and Member of the Marine Board. 1838 : Collector of Sea Customs at Madras, and Member of the Marine Board. 1841: Principal Collector and Magistrate of Coimbatore. 1851: Proceeded on furlough. 1852: Resigned the Service, 30th April in India. (Annuitant on the Fund, 1852.) Died 30th November 1854 in England.
