Body of text  WELLESLEY GRAHAME BAILEY, born 7th January 1915 at Wazirabad, Punjab, son of Rev Thomas Grahame Bailey and Agnes Bankier Sloan; educated at London Highgate School 1924-33, University of Edinburgh 1933-9, MA (1936), BD (1939); licensed by Presbytery of London 1939; ordained by Presbytery of Edinburgh for foreign missionary service in Punjab 10th December 1939; demitted 1946; assistant Edinburgh St George's 1947; inducted Oxford 17th April 1947. Married 16th December 1939, Edith Mary, daughter of Richard Ernest Brett and Anne Steele Mitchell, Newcastle, and has issue, Alan Ernest Grahame, born 10th June 1941; Diana Margaret, born 13th May 1943; Elizabeth Anne, born 24th April 1945; Rosalind Margaret, born 5th July 1948. Publications – A Marriage Service, Oxford (privately published), 1954.
