On furlough to Europe for 20 months. 1882: Appointed Third Member of the Revenue Board. 1883: Acting Second Member, afterwards Acting First Member, of the Revenue Board; also intrusted with the Duty of Revising the Establishments of Collectors and Divisional Officers in the Presidency. 1884: Second Member, afterwards Acting First Member of the Revenue Board; Also Magistrate of the First Class with ordinary and special Powers, in Tinnevelly District. |
