The data are transcribed from the book compiled by Charles Prinsep published by Truebner & Co in 1885.

Summary of Service  1842: Writer. 184: 3: Assistant to Collector and Magistrate, Canara. 1847: Acting Head Assistant to Collector and Magistrate, Malabar. 1848: Head Assistant to Collector and Magistrate, Malabar. 1849: Offciating Sub-Judge, Calicut. 1851: Acting Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Malabar. 1852: On furlough to Europe. 1856: Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Madura; Acting Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Rajahmundry: Acting Collector and Magistrate, Malabar. 1858: Inspector-General of Police for Madras Presidency. 1866: Made C.S.I. 1867: Acting Third Member of the Revenue Board. 1868: On special leave to Europe for 6 months; resumed Acting Third Member of the Revenue Board. 1869: Third Member and Acting Second Member of the Revenue Board; afterwards Acting First Member; Inam Commissioner. 1870: Second Member, and Acting First Member of the Revenue Board; Additional Member of Council of the Governor-General for making Laws and Regulations. 1872: On furlough to Europe for 9 months. 1873: Member of Council. 1875: Acting Governor of Fort St. George for 7 months; made a K.C.S.I. 31st December. 1878: Retired from service, 5th December. (Annuitant on the Fund.)
