Her husband was in fact Colonel Gerard Maxwell Glynton, DSO (d. 1942), of the 6th Gurkha Rifles, Indian Army. Further information is available in ‘Who was Who in the Indian Army”, Vol. IV, p. 441 (available in the BL/IOR).
