At Gwinean, Captain Hannibal Tucker, a pensioner of the East India Company. He was found frightfully mutilated in his dwelling, which was in flames at the time of discovery. He was very eccentric in his habits, and although a married man, and having a daughter, he lived in the house by himself. The jury, after a lengthened inquiry, returned a verdict,""That the deceased had destroyed himself while in a state of temporary insanity."" |
