Detail  In Dorset-sq. Lieut.-Gen. Wm. Douglas Cleiland, of the Hon. E. India Company's Bombay Service. He was a cadet of the year 1797, was made Colonel of the 19th Bombay Nat. Infantry, May 1, 1824, attained the rank of Major-Gen. in 1837, and that of Lieut.-Gen. in 184-. He held the office of Principal Registrar of the Diocese and Episc. Consistory Court of Sarum, of the gift of Bishop Douglas.
