Detail  On board the Mary Anne, on his passage to England, on sick certificate, aged 42, Sir Charles Wentworth Burdett, Bart. Capt. 41st Madras Native Infantry. He succeeded his uncle Sir Charles-Windham, the 5th Baronet, in 1839. He married in 1834 his cousin the daughter of Wm. Hugh Burgess, esq. by whom he has left issue Sir Charles-Wentworth, his heir, born in 1835.
