C. Greenwood, missionary. He was the second son of the late John Greenwood, esq. of Ewelme, co. Oxford, and nephew to Mr Thorpe, bookseller, of London. He had been in Ceylon for more than eight years, and was to have preached his farewell sermon at Baddegamme the next day, being about to remove to Cotta. He has left a widow and two children. |
