Detail  Lately. Aged 29, Capt. William Henry Jeremie, 38th Bengal Light inf., son of the late Capt. Peter Jeremie, of Guernsey. This distinguished young officer was engaged during the whole of the war in Affghanistan, and received a medal for his services. He had just been appointed Brigade-Major at Barrackpore, and hads obtained the highest testimonials of esteem and regard from the Commander-in-Chief, Sir Charles Napier.
