Detail  At Rangoon, Lieut. William Browne Mason, R.N. Flag-Lieut. of H.M.S. Fox, youngest son of the late Vice-Adm. Sir Francis Mason, K.C.B. of Wheeler-lodge, Welford. He was drowned by the upsetting of his boat, while assisting the E.I. steam-frigate Mozuffur wrecked off the mouth of the Rangoon river.
