(Note: Although this is the entry transcribed from the original, the groom's surname was, in fact, Thomas. This is confirmed by comparison with the Ecclesiastical Record IOR/N/2/33 fo. 154. AIM have, evidently confused the surname with the profession of the groom. Thanks to FIBIS Member Howard Bartley for pointing this out)
