Thomas Harrison of Trinity parsonage, Maidstone, Kent clerk, 1847 Estate Duty Registers] as the guardian of George Walter Baldwin the only child, a minor, Elizabeth Baldwin, Mary Baldwin, Elouiza Clarissa Barnette & Catherine Sophia Barnette sprs. four of the aunts & next of kin of said minor having renounced, Matilda Sarah Barnette spr. the aunt & only other next of kin “being now either in the East Indies or on her passage from thence to England”, further grant July 1850 to said George Walter Baldwin on his reaching the age of 21, £3000, [which gave his details as of Maidstone, Kent, Lieut. 31st Foot, Estate Duty Registers], Pts
