Inscription  In memory of Maria, the beloved wife of William Cawthorne, Esqr., She died at Colombo, 9th September,1857, aged 31 years. Also of William Cawthorne, Esqr., who was accidently killed at Kandy on 20th February, 1858, aged 50 years.
