Inscription  Sacred to the memory of the Rev. John Mitchell, Wesleyan Missionary, born at Loughborough, England, Aug. 9th, 1839, died of cholera at Jaffna, Ceylon, Nov. 7th, 1866, whilst ministering to the wants of the afflicted. His end was peace.
