Inscription  In memory of John Macdougall Gallwey, of Concordia, Uda Passellawa, eldest son of Lieut.-General T. L. J. Gallwey, R.E., who died at Mount Lavinia ....... aged 31 years. This tablet has been erected by his friends in Ceylon in token of their regard and esteem.
