Entry  ABBOTT – We have received information that the barque Zephyr, a South Sea Whaler, was compelled to put into the port of Amboyna about the middle of September last, in consequence of the mutinous conduct of the crew. It appears that Captain Abbott, who sailed in command of the vessel from England, has been accidentally killed on board a month before [Long Description – Free Press, Dec 20th]
