Entry   in Oct 1836 Russell Ellice filed his bill of complaint in the High Court of Chancery against John Goodson, Sir William Young, William Law & others, setting forth that James Law by a bond dated 22 Dec 1802 & by an indenture dated 19 Jan 1805 was indebted monies to Arthur Balfour, the said Ellice was the administrator of the said Balfour, property in Grenada, William Law was the personal representative of James Law, Wilhelmina Law wid. & Frances Udny Palmer wife of Samuel George Palmer were parties to the suit, fraudulent conveyances mentioned [of Calcutta, d 28 Feb 1842, to John Coverdale of Bedford Row, Middlesex, limited to substantiate proceedings in Chancery, £50, Estate Duty Registers]
