Entry  SKENE.-June 8, at Jhansie, by the insurgents, Captain Alexander Skene, 68th Regiment Bengal Native Infantry, and Superintendent of Jeansie and Jaloun, fourth son of the late Charles Skene, Esq., Aberdeen. Killed at the same time and place, Beatrice Margaret Herschel, his wife, daughter of Colonel Cumberlege, 4th Madras Light Cavalry, aged 21 also Mary Isabella Frances and Beatrice Harriet Annie, their infant daughters.
