CommentWANT A PHOTOGRAPH OF ONE OF THESE HEADSTONES?

This is one of the graveyards for which FIBIS commissioned Mr Rajat Sharma to take photographs and details of all legible headstones. All inscriptions are included wherever they are legible.

Inscription  To the Memory of their comrades who died at Roorkee 1894-97 this monument is erected by the officers, NC Officers and Men of 22 Company, Western Division, Royal Artillery. Actg. Bombr. W.H. Langdon, died 23 April 1894, aged 28. Gunner Daniel O'Keeffe, died 1 May 1894, aged 26. Gunner Frederick Broderick, died 10 Sept. 1894, aged 24. Gunner Jonas Binns, died 6 July 1895, aged 24 years. Gunner Thomas W. Norman, died 30 Aug. 1896, aged 23. Gunner Nicholas Carraghan, died 22 Nov. 1896, aged 20.
