He was severely wounded at the battle of Moodkee, 18th Dec. 1845. And on the 29th of the month at Ferozpore fell asleep in Jesus. This last tribute of respect has ben erected by his attached and dveoted widow, yet she sorrows not even as those who have no hope. ""for if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. 1 Thes. 1v 11. |
