Auckland who died at Singapore from injuries received in a fall from the foretopsail yard on 5th December 1855 aged 20 years. -- This stone is erected to his memory and as a tribute to his worth by his shipmates. -- The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. Blessed be the name of the Lord. --
