From 1831, a summary record was kept of the service of each soldier, of the East India Company Armies, who was still living and serving at and after that date. Separate series of records were kept for each of the three Presidencies until the demise of these armies in 1860. These are the full copies of the records taken from IOR/L/MIL/12/109-116

The registers give full personal details of enlisted men, including casualties, in a roughly alphabetical arrangement in date order of arrival in Bombay. They were compiled in East India House, mainly from the Muster Rolls (see L/MIL/12/97)
