Inscription  Sacred to the memory of Margaret Malton, widow of Capt. Edward Malton, who departed this life at Ootacamund on the 7th dat of July 1846, aged 49 years. Relying on the merits of her Redeemer and Hiss all porfeet righteousness as her only justification she rests in Jesus. ""If we believe that Jesus died and arose again even so, them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him"".
