Inscription  Sacred to the memory of the beloved children of Staff Sergeant F. J. White, Royal Artillery, and Isabella, his wife; John Charles, aged 5 years, died at Ootacamund, 9th June 1863; Edward James, aged 3 years; Harry aged 7 months, who both died at Madras on the same day, 14 Feb. 1863; Frederick Horatio, aged 3 1/2 years, died at Madras 8th May 1858; Jessy, aged 12 days, died at Saint Thomas' Mount, 24th May 1857; Marina, aged 1 year, died at Secunderabad, 26th April 1854. ""Of such is the Kingdom of heaven."" Of the 6 deaths, 3 were buried out of this district.
