Served during the Punjab Campaign, '48, '49. Medal. Served during the Burmese War, '52. Commanded a Detachment of 250 men in the Aeng Pass. Thanked by Captain Murray and the Officer Commanding in Arracan. Medal. Commanded General Reid's Escort of Pathan Cavalry at the battle of Badlee-ka-Serai, 8th June '57. Served throughout the siege and capture of Delhi, '57. Medal and Clasp. Served throughout the Rohilcund Campaign, '58, including the battle of Kukuralli, 30th April '58. Present at the battle of Bareilly, under Lord Clyde, 5th and 6th May '58; at the attack on the rebels at Shahjehanpore, 18th May '58. Present at the destruction of Mohumdee, 25th May '58. Mentioned in Brigadier Jones' Despatch, 6th May '58. Served in the Oude Campaign, '58, '59. Present at the attack and capture, by storm, of Rampore Kaiseah, 6th November '58. Honorably mentioned in the Brigadier's Despatch, 18th November '58. Accompanied Colonel Guise into the Terai, in November ĺ59. Thanked in Field Force Orders, 29th December ĺ59.
