Served throughout both Campaigns of the Nepal War, with the Dinapore Division of the Army, in 14, 15, and 16, and was severely wounded in the attack of the Fort and Stockade of Hurriarpore, in 16. Served with the Force under Major-General Marshall, in 17, and was present at the siege of Hattrass, and with the left Division of the Grand Army during the Pindarree War, in 17, 18. Was present at the sieges and capture of Dhamoonee and Mundela. Served during the Burmese War with the South-East Division of the Army under Brigadier-General Morrison. Was present at the attack on, and capture of Arracan, in 25. Medal.
