Present at the defeat of the Gwalior rebels at Cawnpore, at the passage of the Kala Nuddee, the re-occupation of Futtehghur, and at the final siege and re-capture of Lucknow. Medal, 2 Clasps, and 1 years extra service. Services mentioned in the Despatch of Brigadier Inglis, Commanding. Received the thanks of the Government of India. Promoted to Brevet-Surgeon for distinguished services at Lucknow.
