Service  Lieutenant Ricketts served with the Force under Captain Dunbar, at the relief of the Garrison of Arrah, 29th July 57. Present throughout the siege of Azimghur, March to April 58, and accompanied HMs 37th for the purpose of carrying orders on the occasion of a sortie being made on the Town. Present at one or two skirmishes in the neighborhood, and detained as Station Staff at Azimghur. Served as Staff Officer to the Force under Colonel Milman, on the occasion of a body of rebels being defeated at Atrobea, 21st March 58, and mentioned in the Despatch of Colonel Milman, 25th April 58.    
Remarks  (Has passed the higher standard of Civil Examination.)
