Service  Lieutenant Stevenson served during the Mutiny, 57, 58. Present at the capture of Delhi, 57; at the actions of Boolundshuhur, 28th September, Malaghur, 6th October, and Agra, 10th October 57. Present at the action of Bantarah, 9th November, Alum Bagh, 14th November, at the occupation of the Martiniere, action at Secunderabagh, and occupation of the Barracks, 17th and 18th November 57. Presentat the relief of Lucknow, November 57; at the battle of Cawnpore; action of Kala Nuddee; re-occupation of Futtehghur. Re-entered Oude with Lord Clydes Force, 9th February 58. Severely wounded by explosion of powder whilst engaged in blowing up a Magazine in Fort Futtehpore, Chowdrassee. Present during the storm and capture of Lucknow under Lord Clyde, March58. Present at Fort Rooya, 15th April; at the action near Allygunge, 22nd April; at the action of Bareilly, 5th May; and at Seerpoorah, 30th August 58. (Severely wounded on the head by a tulwar cut.) Medal and Clasps.
