Service  Captain Watson served with the 47th Native Infantry on special service in Arrakan, in 42. Served with the Sutlej Campaign of 46, and proceeded to Lahore in charge of 750 men for the Army of the Sutlej, and received one years batta. Served in Burmah from 54 to 57. Served in China, and present at minor engagements around Canton, in 58, 59.
