Remarks  William Chambers joined the Mint as an apprentice on the 1st June 1831, took his discharge on the 1st Jan 1833, rejoined the Mint on the 1 Jan 1834 and was transferred to the Steam Department on 1 Feb 1838. Chambers is of halfcaste Extraction, is a very steady young man of good abilities but indifferent health. (1y 3m Rather delicate health).
