Entry  At Agra, in Hindostan, in September 1805, Captain Lieutenant George Yates, adjutant and quartermaster of the 22nd Regiment of Native Infantry, and son of Thomas Yates, Esq., of Lansdowne Place, London. No young man was ever more deservedly beloved by his brother officers, or died more truly regretted by his friends and acquaintance. [Long obituary].
