CommentList of Candidates & Reserve List selected by the Secretary of State and the Railway Board.

The Government of India asked that a certain number of appointments be made each year from 1921 to 1925. Candidates were invited to a personal interview by the Committee and listed In merit order. Should one of the candidates be rejected or fail, then one from the Reserve List would be chosen - again in merit order.
