Entry  At Cawnpore, during the attack on the entrenched barracks, between 5th and 27th June last, Frances Money Evans (with her two infants Fanny Rolanda & Frederick Gambier), wife of Capt H C Evans, Deputy Commissioner in Oude, and eldest daughter of S James & M Rolanda Gambier, of Ashley Lodge, Cheltenham. They were killed by a portion of the roof of the building (struck by a cannon shot) falling upon them.
