Detail  Lieut. Armstrong, in the E.I. Company's service. He was stuck dead with Lightning as he stood under a Tamarand tree, with his horse's bridle under his arm. His steel hilted broad sword in supposed to have attracted the lightning by which he was killed. His horse was killed by the same flash. (see p.359) [which, p.359-360, is an account of a similar event at St Albans by a Tradesman]
