Detail  Capt. Arthur, of the Major East Indiaman. Having lost his ship by fire while she lay at her moorings in Bengal river, he was coming home passenger in the Southampton East Indiaman, when he was seised upon the voyage with a violent fit of the gout, which fell upon his stomach, and carried him off about a fortnight before the ship arrived.
