Detail  At the cavalry cantonments, near Arcot, in Bengal, after a short but painful illness, Lieut.-col. W.A. Younge, commandant of the 4th regiment of cavalry, who was interred the next morning in front of the parade of his regiment. A handsome monument has been erected in his memory by the officers of his regiment.
