Detail  Limited admon to Maria Gibbs of Handsworth Ashted, Warwickshire, Esq. William Gibbs of Bombay died in about 1752 having made a will appointing his wife Maria Gibbs sole executor & residuary legatee for life & substituted his cousin William Gibbs of Handsworth. Staffordshire residuary legatee. Soon after the said testator died Maria Gibbs wrote several letters to William Gibbs about the estate... William Gibbs died in 1767 after making his son Richard Gibbs sole executor & residuary legatee. The said Maria Gibbs of Bombay died about 1766 a widow & intestate, but no letter of admon for her had yet been granted, but was required so that Richard Gibbs could receive the balance of money owed to his father, £2000, Pts
