Summary of Service  1831: Writer. 1832: Assistant in Chief Secretary's Office. 1833: Assistant to Principal Collector, Madura. 1834: Assistant to Principal Collector and Magistrate, North Arcot. 1836: Acting Register of the Zillah Court of Salem; and Acting Register of the Provincial Court, Centre Division. 1839: Register of the Zillah Court of Bellary; Acting Head Assistant to the Collector and Magistrate, Chingleput, and to the Principal and Magistrate, Salem. 1840: Assistant to the Principal Collector and Magistrate, Salem. 1842: Acting Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Salem. 1843: Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Salem. 1844: In charge of the Salem Sub-Court. 1846: Proceeded on furlough. 1849: Acting Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Madura; Acting, afterwards Sub-Judge, Chittoor. 1852: Acting Collector and Magistrate, North Arcot. 1853: Acting Collector and Magistrate, and afterwards Collector and Magistrate, Salem. 1858: On medical leave to Europe for 21 months. 1860: Collector of Salem. 1862: Member of the Board of Revenue, and President of the Income Tax Commission. 1865: President of the Income Tax Commission. 1867: Resigned the service, 27th May. (Annuitant on the Fund, 1867) Died, 20th December 1867.
