Summary of Service  1783: Writer; Assistant to the Secretary to the Select Committee. 1786: Assistant at Masulipatam. 1787: Under the Secretary in the Secret Department. 1790: Paymaster to the Detachment serving with the Nizam. 1793: Out of Employ. 1794: Assistant in the Vizianagram Zemindary. 1796: Collector in the Southern Division of the Vizianagram Zemindary. 1797: Collector in the Cashimcotah Havelly, the resumed Pergunnahs of Vizianagram and Vizagapatam Farms. 1798: Collector in the First Division of the Ganjam. 1802: Third Judge of the Court of Circuit and Appeal, Northern Division. 1806: Second Judge of the Court of Circuit and Appeal, Northern Division. 1810: At home. 1816: Returned to India; Sherrif at Madraspatam. 1817: Commissioner at Rajahmundry. 1819: Acting Third Judge of the Provincial Court, Northern Division. 1820: Commercial Resident and Collector of Sea Customs, Vizagapatam and Ganjam. 1821: Out of Employ. 1822: Second Judge of the Provincial Court, Centre Division. 1824: Senior Judge of the Provincial Court, Centre Division. 1828: Additional Government Commissioner for Carnatic Claims. 1831: Telugoo Translator to Government. 1832: Out of Employ. 1835: Persian Translator to Government. Died, 27th June 1837, at St. Thome.
