The data are transcribed from the book compiled by Charles Prinsep published by Truebner & Co in 1885.

Summary of Service  1797; Writer. 1798: Assistant in the Public, Commercial, and Revenue Department. 1799: Assistant under the Collector of Mannargoody. 1800: Assistant in the Public and Commercial Department. 1801: Deputy Secretary to the Board of Trade. 1803: Commercial Agent at Ceylon. 1808: At home. 1811: Returned to India; Commissioner at Tranquebar. 1815: Out of employ. 1817: Police Magistrate and Commissioner for Recovery of Small Debts. 1820: Secretary to the Board of Trade. 1822: Superintendent of Government Lotteries.1824: Secretary to the Marine Board, and Deputy Warehouse-keeper. 1826: Third Commissioner for the Recovery of Small Debts, and Police Magistrate. 1827: Joint Officiating Magistrate on the Beach. 1830: Commercial Superintendent and Warehouse-keeper, &c. 1831: Out of employ. 1832: Acting Cashier to the Government Bank; Acting Collector of Madras.1833: Additional Government Commissioner for Carnatic Claims. 1835: At home on absentee allowance. (Retired on the Annuity Fund from 1st May 1837.)
