Summary of Service  1781: Writer. 1783: Assistant to the Secretary to the Select Committee. 1784: Assistant to the Secretary in the Civil Department. 1786: Assistant to the Secretary in the Military Department, Deputy Garrison Storekeeper, Acting Secretary to the Committee for Revising, Correcting and Re-publishing the Book of Military Regulations; Surveyor of the Company's Grounds. 1787: Assistant to the Board of Trade . 1788: Under Searcher at the Sea Gate. 1790: Upper Searcher at the Sea Gate; Deputy Sea Customer and Deputy Controller General. 1791: Garrison Storekeeper. 1796: Import Warehouse Keeper. 1797: Commercial Resident at Ceylon. 1801: At home. 1803: Returned to India; Commercial Resident in Ceded Districts. 1805: Military Paymaster at the Presidency and of Extraordinaries. 1807: Garrison Storekeeper. 1811: Paymaster to the King's Troops. Died, 18th June 1811, at Madras.
