Thompson, Esq., of Mary Port, in the county of Cumberland, late commander of the ship ""Captain Cook,"" who departed this life on the 20th May 1834, aged 56 years. He was a good husband, an affectionate father, and a sincere friend. His loss will be severely felt by many. This tablet is placed here as the last mark of respect, by his affectionate son, Wm. Thompson. |
