Details of Inscription  In loving memory of Robert Limond , Bengal Medical service, born 21st February 1775. Died at sea 2nd March 1832. and Catherine his wife. Born 30th May 1799. Died in London 9th May 1884+ Anne, their second daughter, born 12th October 1823. Died at Mirzapore 11 May ???? + Robert Simpson their eldest son. Born February 1824. Died at Burnock Ayr 17th March ????. + David their youngest son. Major General CB. Late Royal Engineers (Bengal) born 6th April 1831 Died 10th July 1896(?)+ Catherine Simpson their .....daughter born ??? died 6th June 1909 + Marion their youngest daughter, wife of Campbell Limond, Bengal Civil Service born 20th Feb 1829. Died 19th May 1910 + Margaret their third daughter born 19th January 1827. Died 14th May 1913.
