Comment

Under the Auspices of His Lordship, The Right Reverend E.L. Kleiner, D.D., Bishop of Mysore, This Cathedral was entirely renovated in 1894-1899 by the Rev. A.M. Tabard, Chaplain, assisted by Rev. J. Mascarenhas. It was solemnly consecrated to the Glory of Almighty God, and of the Immaculate Virgin, under the title of St. Patrick, on the 12th day of November 1899 by the Rt. Rev. E.L. Kleiner, D.D., Bishop of Mysore, assisted by Rt. Rev. J. Bordou, D.D., Bishop of Coimbatore, and the Rt. Rev. T. Mayer, D.D., Bishop of Arcadiopolis and Auxiliary Bishop of Madras, in the presence of a large concourse of Clergy and People. Chief Benefactors of the Cathebrandes, M.D.: Capt. P. Curley.
